We all have that day when we look at our desk and try to figure out a way on how to approach a tight agenda that's full of things to be done. Keep calm, then start figuring out on how and when each activity is going to be completed, before we dive into details, please remember to change your mindset from "This is too much!" to "I'm going to make it!"

Here are the 5 things you can do when feeling overwhelmed at work, hope it helps you out!

1. Write everything down: organize your mind, check your agenda, sticky notes, and all the other tools you use set dates and assign time-frames and get it all together into one single document. After you make the invisible, visible! you will start to calm down and see things from a different perspective.

2. Don´t multitask: please, please and again, please!! Focus on those tasks that have a high priority and go through the list in the order of importance (High-Medium-Low).

3. Keep it real: identify the tasks or activities that are not for the current week and add them to another list, example: @2DoNextWeek, this way you can focus on what needs attention.

4. Create a system: when you standardize your procedures and time-frames its a matter of time to get used to it. Create a workflow for your tasks/activities, remember to prioritize them and to assign a deadline, this way you can always have in perspective the time limitations.

5. Timeout!: in the middle of all the things you have to do remember to take a timeout and just breath. A little time on the side will allow you to refresh your mind and start thinking in a creative way. After you get used to working with defined dates and time-frames for specific activities/tasks you will see an improvement on how you handle them on a daily basis.
