You start the day throwing your pillow at the alarm clock and also clicking on snooze on your smartphone trying to get an extra 5 minutes of sleep right? Sounds like you, well this article should help you avoid feeling tired in the morning and jumping right out of bed!!

Have you ever asked yourself, why you're so tired when you wake up? Maybe you :
  1. Watched a great movie until 1AM ?
  2. Had to get together with your friends for a drink in the middle of the week?
  3. Couldn't sleep? 
  4. Any other excuse!
If you're having issues at your job related with concentration and not being productive, having to stay late to work and finish those tasks that you always leave for last, maybe its time for you to start changing your lifestyle and actually start doing something about it, sounds fair?

With the following tips you should get back on track, lets start the list with number one!:
  1. Organize yourself : get an agenda or use free tools like Google Calendar that can run synced with your smartphone. Never forget a meeting, deadline or the reports that have to be sent on a specific date and time! I know its hard when you start putting your life together but the time to take action is now!
  2. Prioritize : everything in life needs an order to follow, the same applies for the daily tasks that have to be done. The order and the sense of urgency you have while executing them is much better than thinking about what you have to accomplish. Think less and do more.
  3. Take a break : remember that after working hard you need a break to disconnect and refresh your mind, sometimes you need a moment to putt all those ideas together without thinking what time it is.
  4. Learn to say NO: you can´t be in two places at the same time, when you follow Step 1 you organize your days ahead, with Step 2 you distinguish what´s important from those other activities that can be placed on hold to be completed another day, Step 3 allows you to take a breath and charge your energy levels. When you learn to say NO, you can actually start focusing on what´s really important and stop staying hooked on those time consuming tasks that loop your day in a never ending spiral.
